Writer and journalist Ranzit Sarker’s book was published by amazon.com, world’s largest e-commerce site. The book is written in English. The title of the book is ‘Emilia’s Journey with Animals’. The book for children is available on Amazon’s Kindle section. Palash Sarker has done the cover design and decoration for the book.

Regarding the publication of the book Ranzit Sarker said that the development of information and technology has brought about many changes at different levels of society. There have been many changes in our reading habits. Amazon, the world’s largest e-commerce site, has allowed publishing books.

“Therefore, it is not right to miss the opportunity to publish books in the international market. Amazon sells many books by many authors. I have written over 50 books in Bengali. However, only two are in English. The joy of publishing the book ‘Emilia's Journey with Animals’ on Amazon equals publishing my first book”, said Ranzit.

Ranzit Sarker was born in Raiganj upazila of Sirajganj district. Although Ranzit completed his graduation and post-graduation in Accounting, he took up journalism out of a passion for writing.

Ranzit Sarker recently won the Ink and Pen Young Poet and Writer Award in Children and Adolescents section for writing a teen novel titled ‘Liberation War at School’. The number of books published by Ranzit Sarker is 52, including stories and novels.
