Gazipur: Despite movement of a large number of vehicles, the traffic situation remained normal at Chandra Trimore point on the Dhaka-Tangail Highway in Gazipur on Tuesday morning after three days’ gridlock.

Community police along with highway, traffic and district police continues to perform their role to keep traffic normal though there is a huge pressure of the western-region bound vehicles on the highway.

A small tailback was created in Konabari area on the same highway.

Earlier, there were huge tailbacks on the Dhaka-Tangail Highway on the last three days, inflicting immeasurable sufferings on the home-bound people ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
