Bogra: A young man was stabbed to death allegedly by his friend at Talore Bazar in Dupchanchia upazila of Bogra on Tuesday evening.

The deceased is Muktar Hossain, a resident of Talore Bazar.

Dupchanchia police quoting witnesses said Muktar along with his two friends was having a chat at Talore Bazar at about 6:00pm.

At one stage, he locked in an altercation with one of his friends during the conversation.

His friends stabbed him, leaving him severely injured.

Later, he was whisked off to a local clinic where doctors declared him dead.
