Noakhali: A Bangladeshi businessman was gunned down by miscreants in his shop in Bloemfontien area of Free State province in South Africa on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Masud, a resident of Betuadev village in Begumganj upazila.

Deceased’s brother Harun-ur-Rashid said he was talking to his brother Masud at about 10:00pm over mobile phone and heard gunfire at one stage from Masud’s end and then he did not get any response from his brother.
