Dhaka: Gas supply to all the CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) refuelling stations will remain suspended from Friday midnight to Saturday midnight for emergency maintenance works on Bibiyana gas field.

Vehicles were seen lined up for fuel in several gas stations on Friday evening.

Earlier, on 22 September, energy ministry issued a notification announcing to keep the CNG stations closed for 24 hours.

According to the notice, all CNG stations will not supply fuel from 25 September 12:00am to 26 September 12:00am due to maintenance of the gas production and supply system.
