Dhaka: A fire that broke out at the Taranga Building at Motijheel Commercial Area has been doused.

Local people said two floors of the building caught fire at about 12:00midnight on Wednesday. Fire fighters came to the spot and extinguished the flame after half an hour of efforts.

The fire damaged the building including main branch of Bangladesh Commerce Bank, and National Bank’s foreign trade branch.
