Culprits to be nabbed soon: Home Minister
Dhaka: Police and detectives have been given necessary instructions to reveal the mystery behind the killing of Italian citizen, Cesare Tavella, at Gulshan in Dhaka, said Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Tuesday.
The minister told reporters that they are very careful about the investigation.
He, however, did not confirm the possible involvement of Islamic State in the killing of Cesare Tavella on Monday.
Militant organisations often claim responsibilities of such killings and this time IS has took over the charge, he said.
‘We are investigating the claim,’ he added.
Responding to a question he said, the Australian Cricket team has nothing with the killing of the foreigner.
‘Previously, we talked with Australian cricket authorities and ensured them maximum security.’
Security has been tightened after the killing of the foreigner.
He said, ‘There is no activity of IS or likeminded organisations.’
