Dhaka: Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon on Wednesday termed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as Daughter of Earth as the Premier achieved the highest United Nation's environment award Champions of the Earth.

In a statement, Menon, who is also chairman of Workers Party, said the Prime Minister's achievement of Champions of the Earth award pulled her up at the zenith of esteem. ‘Her (Sheikh Hasina) success made us proud ...... it has increased the pride of Bengali nation,’ he added.

He said now Sheikh Hasina is not only pride of the Bengali nation but also the pride of this earth. She has become a world leader to be followed, he added. ‘Bangladesh is advancing under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the advancement will be continued,’ he said.
