Case filed against 6 over Khijir Khan killing
Dhaka: A case was filed against six people with Badda police on Tuesday night in connection with the killing of former Power Development Board (PDB) Chairman Khijir Khan.
The Badda police said victim’s son Ashraful Islam filed the case with the police station against six unidentified people.
In the meantime, Sub-inspector Aminul Islam, of the same police station, has been made investigation officer of the killing case, Nurul Islam added.
Earlier, on Monday evening, a group of around 7 unidentified miscreants entered the six-storey building of Khijir Khan at Gudaraghat of Badda.
The miscreants first tied his family members on the 2nd floor and then slaughtered Khijir Khan after tying two women and a child, who were staying in the Khanka Sharif at about 7:00pm.
Police recovered the slaughtered body on Monday night.
