Report against 2 Kishoreganj war crimes accused finalised
Dhaka: The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) finalised its report against war crimes accused Mohammad Hosain and Mohammad Moslem of Kishoreganj.
Abdul Hannan Khan and Sanaul Haque, chief coordinator and assistant coordinator respectively of the investigation agency of ICT, said Moslem was already in jail on charges of crimes against humanity during the Liberation War in 1971 while Hosain remained absconding.
The ICT, during its investigation that continued from 13 November, 2014 to 07 September, 2015, could primarily prove six counts of charges against the duo, who were accused of killing 62 people, abducting 11 and torching 250 homes during the war.
The 439-page probe report will be submitted to the tribunals prosecutor on Wednesda, Hannan Khan said.
