Rajshahi: Two officers-in-charge of Bagha and Charghat police stations were withdrawn and attached to the district police last night.

They were replaced by two from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police. Bagha OC Amninur Rahman, replaced by Ali Mahmud, has been attached to the district's police lines. Nibaran Chandra Barman has replaced Alamgir Hossain as the Charghat OC.

Nisharul Arif, Superintendent of Police of Rajshahi told newsmen that a withdrawal order was issued on Thursday. He, however, said the reasons were administrative.

‘Charghat OC applied for transfer citing personal reasons and Bhagha police OC has been discharging duties of OC for the second time,’ SP Nisharul Arif added.
