Dhaka: Government has decided to deploy additional forces of Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) in five districts of Chittagong division in order to maintain a law and order during Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the Hindu community.

The districts are: Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Bandarban, Khagrachhari and Rangamati.

BGB South-East Region Director (Operation) Lt Col ARM Nasiruddin Ekram confirmed this saying some BGB patrol teams have already started to tramp in the port city.
