Dhaka: Two young men received burn injuries as a fire broke out in a shoe factory in Siddikbazar area under Bangshal police station of Dhaka in the early hours of Sunday.

The injured are Alauddin, who received 40 per cent burn injuries, and Robin, who received 20 per cent burn injuries.

The Bangshal police said the fire
originated from an electric short circuit in the factory on the 2nd floor of Siddiqbaazar area under Bangshal Police Station at about 3:00am, leaving the duo injured.

Later the injured were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital burn unit.
