Keraniganj: Police recovered the decomposed bodies of two unidentified people from the Buriganga River in South Keraniganj on Monday.

Sub-inspector of Hasnabad river police camp Mohammad Samsul Alam said locals spotted the bodies floating in the river at Kheyaghat and Trawllerghat of Mirerbagh village in the afternoon and informed them.

Later, the law enforcers recovered the bodies and sent those to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

Police suspected that miscreants dumped the bodies into the river after killing the two victims whose identities could not be confirmed.
