Magura: A 14-year-old schoolgirl was rescued 53 days after her abduction from Daribila village under Sripur upazila of Magura on Tuesday.

Sripur police station sub inspector Abdur Rahim said, on information, a team of police conducted a drive at the village on Tuesday morning and rescued the girl who was abducted on 4 September last.

Earlier, the father of the girl filed a case with Sripur police station against a resident of the same area, after the abduction of his daughter.

Police arrested the parents of that man in this connection.
