Gazipur: A freedom fighter was kicked to death allegedly by his daughter at Marishpara of Tongi in Gazipur on Friday morning.

The deceased is Fazlul Haque, 70, a resident of the area.

Tongi police sub-inspector Abul Khayer said Fazlul’ s daughter Farzana Yasmin Munni, 37, kicked him at one stage of altercation over family affairs in the morning, leaving him critically injured.

Later, Fazlul succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.
