Dhaka: Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson Khaleda Zia has returned home after more than two-month-stay in the United Kingdom.

The Emirates Airlines flight that carried Khaleda to Bangladesh reached Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 5:10pm on Saturday, confirmed her media wing official Khairul Kabir Khan.

BNP standing committee members Abdullah Al Noman, also vice-president of the party, central committee joint secretary general Mahbub Uddin Khokon, among others, welcomed the former prime minister at the airport.
