Pakistani among 6 held with fake currency

Dhaka: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive detained six members of an international human trafficking and fake currency syndicate, including a Pakistani national, along with huge fake currency notes from different parts of the Dhaka’s Mirpur and Uttara areas on early Friday, reports UNB.
The identities of the arrestees could not be known immediately.
Tipped off, a team of RAB conducted separate drives in Mirpur and Uttara areas of the city and arrested the six along with one crore fake Indian rupees,
Bangladeshi Tk6.24 lakh, 21 Pakistani passports and fake stamps, said sources at the Rab headquarters.
The drive was conducted from Thursday night till early Friday.
