2 Indians attacked in Chittagong

A group of miscreants stabbed two Indian citizens during a robbery and looted valuables from their possession on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway at Sitakunda upazila in Chittagong on Monday night, reports local news agency.
The injured, Jatindra Shing Darara, and Omar Geet Singha , both are reportedly 60 years old, were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
The hospital said when the Dhaka-bound four microbuses carrying 40 passengers, all Indian citizens, from Chittagong city reached Sitakunda at about 11:30pm; a gang of around 12 miscreants intercepted the vehicles and took control of them after beating up their drivers mercilessly.
The muggers also beat its passengers and took away valuables from them.
Jatindra Shing Darara and Omar Geet Singha were stabbed by the miscreants as they tried to resist them.
Later, the highway police rescued all the 40 and took them to the DMCH, where Jatindra Shing Darara and Omar Geet Singha were admitted.
