2 found dead in Cox's Bazar

Cox’s Bazar: Police recovered two bullet-hit bodies from Himchari hillside on the Eidgaon-Eidgarh Road in Sadar upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday morning.
The deceased are Jahedul Alam Sifat, and his brother Shahidul Alam Arafat, both are residents of Halima Para of Cox’s Bazar.
The Eidgaon police investigation centre in-charge said local people spotted the bodies of the duo lying in the area at about 9:00am and called police.
Later police recovered the bodies and sent those to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The Sadar police said the two brothers might have been killed in a clash between to rival groups.
Sifat was accused in 22 criminal cases while Arafat had 20 cases against him and both were on the top terror list of the Home Ministry, said police.
