Dhaka: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in a drive arrested three suspected members of a human trafficking gang from the capital city’s Uttara in Banani and Old Dhaka areas on Thursday night.

The identities of the arrestees could not be known yet.

A team of CID conducted simultaneous drives in different parts of the city and arrested three members of an international human trafficking gang in the night, said CID headquarters sources.

However, the CID also claimed they seized Tk15 lakh from the captured traffickers.
