Dhaka: The government has appointed M Jashim Uddin as Bangladesh’s new Ambassador to Greece.

He is currently serving as the Director General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In his diplomatic career, Jashim Uddin served at Bangladesh Missions in New Delhi, Tokyo, Washington DC and Islamabad in different capacities, said a Foreign Ministry media release on Thursday.

Jashim Uddin has obtained his MSS in International Relations from the University of Dhaka. He also obtained an MA degree in Modern International Studies from the UK.
