Reshuffle in admin top level
In a major reshuffle in administration, six secretaries of the ministry of public administration have been transferred, says a notification published on the ministry website on Sunday.
The notification, signed by ministry of public administration senior assistant secretary Mohammad Rezaul Haque, reads Land Appeal Board Chairman Mohammad Abdur Rob Howlader has been made member of planning commission, primary and mass education ministry secretary Mesbah-ul Alam has been transferred to land ministry, planning commission member Mohammad Humayun Khalid has been made secretary primary and mass education ministry and rector of BCS administration academy Mohammad Sohrab has been shifted to ministry of education as secretary.
Immigration and Passport Department director general NM Zeaul Alam has been appointed acting cabinet secretary while additional secretary Nazimuddin Chowdhury to energy and mineral resources division has been promoted to acting secretary of the same department.
The announcement says the rearrangement in public administration has been carried out according to president’s order and it will be in effect soon.
