Dhaka: The Finance Ministry has introduced online service through which government employees will be able to check their salary and pension status.

Through this new service, about 11 lakh public servants will be able to know the breakdown of their salaries and pensions paid under the new 8th pay scale.

The public servants can also withdraw their salaries at office or home through online banking facilities.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith inaugurated the online service at the Secretariat on Thursday.

The minister said, ‘We’ve entered into a new system after 268 years of administration system. Today public servants’ hassles to withdraw salaries have been ended.’

All information of bank account will also be displayed by entering one’s mobile number on the Finance Ministry website.
