Dhaka: Blogger and writer Avijit Roy’s father, Ajoy Roy, sought exemplary punishment for the killers who hacked his son to death on Thursday night on Dhaka University campus area.
Ajoy Roy, a former Dhaka University professor, while talking to the journalists after filing a murder case with Shahbagh Police on Friday morning, said, ‘I am requesting government to stop this militant extremism immediately. As an unfortunate father I am asking Sheikh Hasina government to arrest the killers and grant exemplary punishment for them.’
