No chances of civil war: Finance minister

Finance Minister Abul Mal Abdul Muhith on Friday afternoon brushed aside the European Parliament’s apprehension of turning current political condition in Bangladesh into a civil war.
The minister while addressing Rottery International district conference at Jalalabad Gas Auditorium in Sylhet said that people in Bangladesh do not support BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, so there are no chances of civil war.
Abul Mal Abdul Muhith blamed Khaleda Zia for the secret killing and firebomb attacks occurring across the country.
The conference was presided over by Sylhet district governor MA Latif and Rottery International president’s representative Nirmal Kumar Singh was in the chair of the special guest.
