The spokesperson of the 14-Party Alliance Mohammad Nasim has said that Avijit is the first victim of the Manna-Khoka telephone conversation.

After a meeting of the alliance at the Awami League president’s office in Dhanmondi on Friday, Health Minister Nasim said, ‘Avijit is the first victim; there is no confusion in that.’

Nasim said ‘There is no confusion that the defeated power in 1971 is behind this killing. They want to stop the trial of the killers in 1971.’

The minister said ‘a cultural activist has been murdered. The murder has occurred just like the murder of Humayun Azad. The murder has occurred in the university campus.
