Dhaka: The chargesheet in the Gulshan cafe attack case will be submitted after the interrogation of militant Rashed alias Rash, said Monirul Islam, the chief of Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit on Saturday.

Rashed, also a close accomplice of chief coordinator of Gulshan attack Tamim Chowdhury, was one of the main plotters of the attack, he told a press conference at DMP Headquarters.

Rashed also provided arms and training to the attackers, Monirul said.

He also helped rent a house in Bashundhara residential area and had been playing an important role in Neo JMB, he added.

On Friday, police arrested Rashed from Singra upazila in Natore district.

A court here on Saturday put Rashed alias Rash alias Abu Jarra on a five-day remand in a case filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
