Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places in the country in the next 24 hours ending at 9:00am on Friday.

‘Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Dhaka, Barisal and Chittagong divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls,’ said a Met office press release in Dhaka on Thursday.

Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, the release

added.

Country’s highest temperature on Wednesday was recorded 35.7 degree Celsius  in Rajshahi while today’s minimum temperature was recorded 23.8 degree Celsius in Rangamati.

Country’s highest rainfall was recorded 85.0 mm at Gopalganj in the last 24

hours ending at 6:00am on Thursday.

The sun sets at 6:41pm on Thursday and rises at 5:29am on Friday in the

capital.
