Dhaka: A court here on Saturday put two people on a three-day remand each in a case over the death of a domestic help in a house in the city's Banasree area on Friday.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate AKM Moin Uddin Siddique passed the order in the afternoon when the investigation officer of the case produced homeowner Moin Uddin and caretaker of the house Kamal before his court seeking a 7-day remand for each.
Laily Begum, 22, wife of Nazrul Islam of Phulbari upazila in Kurigram district and a part-time domestic help at the house of Moin Uddin of the area, was found dead in his house on Friday morning.
Earlier in the morning, three people -- homeowner Moin Uddin, his wife and caretaker Kamal -- were arrested after victim's brother-in-law Shahidul Islam filed a case with Khilgaon Police Station on Friday night in connection with the death.
