Dhaka: The government has re-appointed Abu Saleh Sheikh Mohammad (ASSM) Zahirul Haque as the Law, Justice and the Parliamentary Affairs Secretary, said an official release in Dhaka on Monday.

With the approval of the President, the appointment has been given as contractual basis for the next two years since today under the condition of cancellation his leave preparatory to retirement (LPR).

The Law and Justice division of the Ministry has issued a gazette notification on Sunday in this regard.

As per the contract, Haque joined the post before this afternoon.
