In a major reshuffle in the judiciary, 112 assistant judges and equivalent judicial officials have been promoted to senior assistant judges.

The Law Ministry issued a notification on Monday in this regard, reports the UNB.

According to the notification, the judicial service officials have been promoted in consultation with the Supreme Court.

The elevated judges will remain in their respective offices until further notice, it said.
