Bhola: Miscreants blasted two crude bombs targeting the procession of Awami League (AL) backed mayoral candidate in front of a primary school in Bhola municipality on Saturday night, reports local news agency.

Witnesses said supporters of AL backed mayoral candidate Mohammad Moniruzzaman brought out a procession in the area at about 8:00pm for attending a meeting at his house.

When the procession reached in front of Charnoabad Government Primary School, the miscreants blasted two crude bombs.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Police went to the spot and recovered two boxes of crude bombs like objects from the area, said Mir Khairul Kabir, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
