Dhaka: A young man was stabbed to death on Bosila road at Mohammadpur housing area in Dhaka in the early hours of Thursday.

The deceased is Tousir, in his late twenties, a resident of Chand Uddyan in Mohammadpur.

Two local men, Arif and Emon, took Tousir to Dhaka Medical College hospital in critically injured condition. Later, doctor decalred him dead at about 3:30am.

They said a clash took place between two groups in the area on Wednesday evening, where Tousir’s friend Ujjal left injured. Ujjal was taken to DMCH for treatment.

Tousir was killed centring the clash, claimed Arif and Emon. They said around five people including Jakir and Soleman, all are resident of Rajdhani Housing Area, stabbed Tousir at about 1:30am and fled from the spot immediately.
