Two people were killed and dozens were injured as a clash erupted among villagers over changing a mosque imam at Bahubal upazila in Habiganj.

The incident took place at about 7:30am on Saturday  at the village of Mugkandi of Satkapom Union of the upazila, said Bahubal Upazila Council Chairman Abdul Hai.

The identities of the deceased people and the injured are yet to be found.
