Narsingdi: A microbus driver and a passenger were killed and six other people were injured as a vehicle hit it on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Bakulnagar area of Raipura upazila on Monday morning.

The deceased are driver Mohsin Miah, about 30 years old, and its passenger Jewel, about 35 years old.

Kawser, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bhairab Highway Police Station, said an unidentified vehicle hit the Narayanganj-bound microbus from Akhaura in the area around 7:00 am, leaving the duo dead on the spot and six others injured.

On information, police recovered the bodies.
