Dhaka: A television presenter brought allegation against a man who raped her after inviting her to visit his house at Kadamtali in Dhaka.

The anchor, in her twenties, filed a case with Kadamtali police on Wednesday night.

The Kadamtali police Officer-in-charge (OC) Kazi Wazed Ali said the presenter filed a case over rape allegation. Police is trying to catch the accused.

According to the case statement, the victim, student of a university, is an announcer of a television programme. She also works in television dramas.

A young man invited the presenter at his home in Shonir Akhra area on 2 August. The man, who was familiar to her, raped her and video recorded the crime.
