Dhaka: President Abdul Hamid on Monday expressed deep shock at the death of iconic film actor Abdur Razzak, popularly known as Nayak Raj Razzak.

In a condolence message, Abdul Hamid said Razzak will ever be remembered for his outstanding contributions to the Bangla film industry, reports the UNB.

‘His (Razzak) contributions will be remembered from one generation to another for his role in spreading Bengali culture across the world through his movies,’ he said.

The President prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Razzak breathed his last at United Hospital in the capital in the evening.
