Almost the entire country may witness a cloudy and rainy weather during the coming Eid-ul-Azha, an official of Met Office told BSS on Thursday.

He said, ‘Heavy rainfall may occur in Barisal, Khulna, Chittagong

divisions on Eid day while Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka and Mymensigngh may experience light to moderate rainfall.’

‘Cloudy weather may prevail in Dhaka city in the morning of Eid day.... The city may witness light rainfall in the morning but it may experience heavy rainfall in the afternoon,’ the official of the Met Office said, reports BSS.

‘We are also forecasting that weather may remain cool during Eid-ul-Azha as rains may occur at many parts of the country,’ the meteorologist also added. According to a long range weather forecast of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), normal rainfall may occur in the Month of September and one or two monsoon low pressures are likely to form in the Bay of Bengal.
