Cox’s Bazar: At least three people were killed as a picnic bus turned turtle on a road at Ramu upazila in Cox’s Bazar on Monday morning. Around 15 people were also injured during the accident.

The Ramu police Officer-in-charge SM Liakat Ali told NTV Online the accident took place in front of the gate of Ramu Upazila Health complex at about 6:30am.

The OC said the bus came to Ramu from Baluchara area of Chittagong. When it neared the upazila health complex gate, the bus overturned and three people died on the spot.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. The injured were sent Ramu Upazila Health Complex, Cox’s Bazar Sadar hospital and other clinics. However, the OC said, condition of some of the injured are critical.
