Rohingya man held in Narayanganj
Narayanganj: The Narayanganj sadar model police detained a Rohingya man in Khanpur area of Narayanganj on Saturday night.
The detainee is Abdullah. The district superintendent of police will send him to Rohingya camp.
The Narayanganj sadar model police Officer-in-charge (OC) Shahen Shah Parvez said the Rohingya man was wandering at Khanpur area of Narayanganj city. Police detained him after noticing his suspicious behaviour and identified wound mark on his body. Abdullah came to Narayanganj through train. Later, police admitted him to Narayanganj 300-bed hospital for treatment.
Abdullah said the Myanmar army killed his mother after hanging her. He escaped to Bangladesh. Later, he came to Narayanganj from Chittagong through train.
Narayanganj 300-bed hospital’s emergency unit physician Jannatul Nayem told NTV Online Abdullah received treatment and now he is improving.
