Dhaka: Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu on Sunday said the news to assassinate Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is fabricated.

Some indian and Bangladeshi media aired that false news on their sites.

Amu came up with the call while talking to the reporters after a ministerial meeting at the secretariat around 11:00am.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Law Minister Anisul Huq, Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan, State Minister for Labour and Employment Mujibul Haque were present, among others, at the meeting.
