China to play ‘constructive role’ in resolving Rohingya crisis: Envoy

China wants to play a ‘constructive role’ in resolving the Rohingya crisis as soon as possible.
‘We sincerely hope this issue will be resolved as soon as possible and China is willing to play a constructive role to this end,’ Chinese Ambassador in Dhaka Ma Mingqiang said on Monday evening, reports the UNB.
Wile addressing a reception at the Embassy on the occasion of the Chinese National Day marking the 68th founding anniversary of China, he said some 150 tonnes of relief materials from China will reach Chittagong within a couple of days.
The ambassador highly appreciated Bangladesh’s humanitarian assistance to the Rohingyas in Bangladesh.
Over 430,000 Rohingyas arrived in Bangladesh since August 25.
