Mymensingh: A man was killed and two others were injured as the gas cylinder of a pickup exploded at a CNG refuelling station in Masterbari area of Bhaluka upazila in Mymensingh on Wednesday.

The deceased is Kobad Hossain, 40, a worker of Purbasha CNG Station.

Police said the gas cylinder of the pickup went off with a big bang at about 4:00pm when gas was being filled in it, leaving a worker dead on the spot and the driver and helper of the vehicle injured.

The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, said superintendent of Mymensingh police Mainul Haq.
