Keraniganj: Members of river police recovered decomposed body of an unidentified young man from the Buriganga river in South Keraniganj upazila in Dhaka on Tuesday night.

Md Shahidul Islam, sub-inspector of Hasnabad river police outpost, said being informed, police recovered the decomposed body of the young man, aged about 30, floating in the river in the night and sent it to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital

The deceased was clad in only red T-shirt.

The body might be dumped in the river 5/6 days ago, said the SI.
