Jhenaidah: A homeopath was found dead at Belekhan village in Jhenaidah Sadar on Thursday.

Jhenaidah police officer-in-charge Hafizur Rahman said local people found the body of Samir Uddin, in his eighties, in his dispensary at Belekhan Bazar at about 2:00pm and informed police.

He was gashed with sharp weapons and probably died of haemorrhage, he said.  

Police said miscreants might have killed Samir following previous enmity, reports a news agency.
