Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around 9:25am on Saturday.

Earlier, she left London for home on Friday evening (local time) wrapping up her three-week visit to the United States and the United Kingdom.

‘A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage departed from Heathrow International Airport in London at 6:55pm (Bangladesh time 11:55pm),’ PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said from London over telephone.

Bangladesh High Commissioner to the UK Nazmul Qaunine saw the Prime Minister off at the airport.

Awami League has arranged a mass reception to the Prime Minister and the party president on her return.
