Narayanganj: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) 12 in a drive arrested two members of the banned militant outfit Neo-JMB from Narayanganj.

RAB via a text message on Tuesday morning said the deceased is Samrat Mia, in his twenties, and Shahdat Hossain, around 22 years old. RAB claimed, both of them are associates of militant Abdullah, who died during an anti-militancy drive in Dhaka.

Details about the arrest will be briefed later in the day.

Earlier, on 5 September, law enforcers conducted drive at Darus Salam area of Mirpur, suspecting that militant Abdullah along with his family was staying at the hideout.  Later, militants exploded bomb inside the building, where, as per RAB’s statement, militant Abdullah died.
