Savar: An unidentified youth was killed by miscreants in Jorpool area on Dhaka-Aricha highway on Wednesday morning.

Witnesses said some unidentified young men forcibly fell a youth, aged around 26, from a running truck in the morning, leaving him critically injured.

Later, locals rushed him to Enam Medical College Hospital where on duty doctors declared him dead.

On information, police recovered the body from the spot, said Mohsinul Kadir, officer-in-charge of Savar Model Police Station.

A case was filed in this connection.
