Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the nation on Tuesday, marking the completion of two years of her government after the January-5 national election.

The address will simultaneously be broadcast by Bangladesh Television, Bangladesh Betar as well as private TV channels and radio stations.

‘The prime minister is scheduled to deliver her address tomorrow evening,’ said her press secretary Ihsanul Karim.

In her address, Sheikh Hasina is expected to spell out her government’s successes and achievements in different fields.

On this day in 2014, the Awami League government, led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, took office for the second consecutive term with an overwhelming victory in the last general election held on 5 January, 2014.
